SINGAPORE, December 7, 2012 - Fortinet® (NASDAQ: FTNT) ? a world leader in high-performance network security ? today announced that it has won a Strategic 100 award from respected pan-Asia end-user IT publication MIS Asia.

The panel of judges comprising technology practitioners, academicians and consultants named Fortinet as one the 100 ICT companies worldwide that are most important to public and private organisations in Asia based on five criteria: its display of industry leadership, the products and services innovation it introduced, the strategic roles it played in the global enterprise ICT industry, its contribution to overall ICT development, and its financial performance. The award ceremony was held in Singapore on December 5.

A benchmarking tool for IT decision-makers across Asia, the MIS Strategic 100 index is divided into three categories: Global 75 (for those with a global footprint), Regional 20 (for those who dominate in Asia) and Rising Stars (for the five fairly young companies that are driving major technology developments and deployment trends). Fortinet, which has 125,000 customers in almost every country in the world, is a winner in the Global 75 category.
