Fortinet Makes it Easier for Customers to Engage Fortinet and Its Partners in AWS Marketplace

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 8, 2015 Fortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT), a global leader in high-performance cyber security solutions, today announced its participation in the new AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner program from Amazon Web Services (AWS) designed to help customers seamlessly discover and engage Fortinet and its consulting partners in AWS Marketplace. Organizations looking for the right solutions to enhance the security of their AWS Cloud environments now have a way to quickly and easily choose a consulting partner after purchasing a Fortinet product from AWS Marketplace.

AWS customers can now find Fortinet partners like 2nd Watch in AWS Marketplace, making it easier to get help implementing and optimizing Fortinets advanced security software running on AWS.

We partner with customers to implement and manage their cloud strategies so they can focus on growing their business, said Kris Bliesner, Founder & Chief Technical Officer at 2nd Watch, a managed public cloud provider. Fortinets participation in the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner Program, combined with alignment to our customers on AWS, provides a natural evolution to our cloud business.

The AWS Marketplace is designed to help customers more easily discover and more quickly deploy the product solutions that offer the best fit for their unique project workloads. With the launch of the AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner program, we offer ISVs and consulting partners like Fortinet and 2nd Watch the opportunity to connect with new and existing customers right at the moment of purchase decision, said Dave McCann, Vice President, AWS Marketplace, Amazon Web Services, Inc. We worked closely with Fortinet and other select ISVs to improve our customer experience, so that they can, in fewer steps, optimize their configuration by quickly finding an expert advisor in the right geography who is both a member of the AWS Partner Network (APN) and a Fortinet partner.
