November 16, 2010 - Fortinet® - a leading network security provider and the worldwide leader of unified threat management (UTM) solutions – today announced that it has been named a finalist in the Best Enterprise Firewall and Best Integrated Security-UTM categories in the 2011 SC Magazine Reader Trust Awards. The FortiGate-3950B and FortiGate-1240B multi-threat security appliances were named as premiere solutions in the competition, which honors best-in-class security products and services.

The FortiGate-3950B and FortiGate-1240B were selected from hundreds of entries submitted in more than 31 technology categories. Finalists will be reviewed and winners will be chosen by the wide distribution of SC Magazine readers - security and technology experts from large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets. Winners of this year’s SC Magazine Awards will be announced at a gala dinner and award ceremony to be held in San Francisco on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
