Overview:
The RM-FR-T21 mounts the FortiGate 50G in a standard 19-inch rack with a compact 1U footprint, bringing all connections — including fiber and USB — to the front for convenient access.
Custom-engineered for the FortiGate 50G, the RM-FR-T21 routes all 8 connections — including the console port, a fiber SFP coupler, and a USB coupler — to the front panel of the rack. The included cables and keystones simplify cabling while keeping the installation tidy. The power supply attaches securely to the rack frame to prevent accidental interruption of service. Note that the non-shielded cable variant does not support the FortiWifi version of the appliance.
Installation typically takes fewer than three minutes: slide the appliance into the bracket, secure with the retainers, connect the cables to the keystones, and fasten the power supply.
