Overview:
The RM-FR-T21I is the shielded variant of Rackmount.IT's FortiGate 50G rack kit, offering EMI/RFI-protected cabling for environments where signal integrity is critical.
Precision-engineered for the FortiGate 50G, the RM-FR-T21I routes all 8 connections — including the console port, a fiber SFP coupler, and a USB coupler — to the front of the rack using shielded cables throughout. The shielded design provides robust protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, making this kit the preferred choice for high-density data centres and noise-sensitive environments. The power supply is secured to the rack frame to guard against accidental disconnections.
Assembly is quick: slide the appliance into the bracket, secure it with the retainers, route the shielded cables through the keystones, and fix the power supply. The process typically takes fewer than three minutes.
